Design for a vertical screen

A Story is viewed full-screen and usually for only a moment. Choose one clear subject and one main message. Use the height to create a simple reading path from the visual to the headline and then to a short supporting line or call to action. Postzmaker creates still graphics; it is not a video editor or a publishing tool.

Protect the important content

Social apps place account information, controls and reply areas over Story media. Keep faces, prices, dates, logos and essential wording away from the extreme top and bottom. Generous inner margins also help when the same design is reused as a Reel cover or displayed on a phone with a different screen shape.

Make text readable at a glance

Use a short headline, strong contrast and a type size that remains clear on a small display. If the message needs several paragraphs, move the explanation to another Story frame or the post caption. A translucent panel or a subtle dark overlay can separate words from a detailed photograph without hiding the subject.

Plan a sequence before making many frames

For a multi-frame Story, give every screen one job: introduce the topic, explain the benefit, show evidence, then present the next step. Repeat colors, type and alignment so the sequence feels connected. Save a clean draft before changing each frame and export the images in the order in which they should appear.

Review before export

Check spelling, dates, prices, links written on the image and any attribution. Preview the design at roughly phone size and confirm that the first screen makes sense without audio or a caption. Export PNG for type-heavy artwork or JPG for a photographic design, then upload through the platform itself.

2. Select a layout or begin with a blank vertical canvas.
3. Add one message, your visual and any verified details.
4. Check safe margins and small-screen readability.
5. Export the still image and publish it in the relevant app.

• Leave extra space at the top and bottom.
• Use contrast instead of excessive effects.
• Do not imitate platform buttons that could mislead viewers.
• Save a reusable draft for recurring Story series.

Private by design

Postzmaker processes the images you add inside your browser. They are not uploaded to a Postzmaker server, and you do not need an account. Drafts remain in the browser storage on the device where you created them until you delete the drafts or clear the site data.
